I would love to check this out (or win it! :-)) As a photo business, that has just started to take the business side of things a bit more seriously in the past 6 months, finding forms, and contracts, and things of this nature online is like finding a needle in the haystack somedays! I could definitely make good use of this! :-)

It's crazy - but it's also perfect. So this would just give me an extra little push in the right direction. April 6, 2009 - 6:02 am spanki mils - i have always used the excuse... you can only get one side of your brain to function at peak performance... my side was the creative side, not the "smart" side. my son is in 3rd grade and i have topped out at homework helper this year! but i have gotten 100s on every art project he has brought home...um... i mean he has gotten 100s!!! i am new to photography, and had no idea that it involved so much "business" and brain! this book would so help this one side brainer to keep her business going! please, oh please... if not, i will have to have my 3rd grader draw me up some forms! thanks

Not only will this book help me a whole lot by saving time but it will definitely aid in the paper side of things in running a photography business as well as having more time in doing what I love - shooting. I was reading excerpts from it at the Google Book Search and was so pleased to read that it included negotiations checklist and definitions of terms used etc. The book goes a step furthur than just buying someone elses forms that are easy to find throughout the net. I have a Canon 40D and recently purchased alien bees lighting equipment and a Sekonic light meter to do Studio portraits so this book will be a Blessing to me.
